- Comparing the different tax categories…commercial/industrial, residential, agriculture, etc.
- Why has Northfield seen a large increase in property taxes?
- How does a commercial/industrial property in Northfield compare to other communities in Rice County , and to other similar cities in the state?
- Explanation of what happens when certain commercial/industrial properties in a community have their property taxes reduced or deferred?
- How are property taxes spent?
- Why Minnesota businesses pay local property taxes and state property taxes.

Seminar Content : What does marketing mean and include, different aspects of marketing, the “Power of Brand”, building the foundation of a creative blueprint for each participating business.
Presenter: Amy Kemmerer from Idea Outpost, a branding and marketing communications agency located in Red Wing.
Registration Required : There is no seminar fee because the Northfield EDA has provided funding for the seminar; however, reservations are required, and can be made by registering with the Chamber office.
